Babies at 8 weeks

Today is 8 weeks and here is what is going on with the minis...

The babies -- now comparable to the size of a kidney bean (just over 1/2 inch long) -- are constantly moving and shifting.  Eyelid folds and ears are forming and even the tip of the nose is visible. The arms have grown longer and bend at the elbows. Places where fingers and toes eventually will grow are becoming notched.

As for me, I have the major first trimester "blahs."  I have waves of nausea on and off all day and constant exhaustion.  I went to bed at 6:30 last night, only getting up once at 10 pm to take my meds and for Tony to give me my injection- then right back to bed for 14 hours of sleep!  Phew.  I actually am a little thankful for these symptoms because it's somewhat reassuring that the babies are growing and thriving!  Other than that, things are well.  I have another ultrasound scheduled for Friday.  Hoping everyone looks perfect!

Oh yeah...I am getting closer and closer to being off all these meds.  Only 4 more days of shots and about another week or 2 of all my other meds.  Yay!
