The babies this weeks are about the size of limes...
Here is what babycenter.com says about the babies this week:
The most dramatic development this week: reflexes. Your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close, his toes will curl, his eye muscles will clench, and his mouth will make sucking movements. In fact, if you prod your abdomen, your baby will squirm in response, although you won't be able to feel it. His intestines, which have grown so fast that they protrude into the umbilical cord, will start to move into his abdominal cavity about now, and his kidneys will begin excreting urine into his bladder.
Meanwhile, nerve cells are multiplying rapidly, and in your baby's brain, synapses are forming furiously. His face looks unquestionably human: His eyes have moved from the sides to the front of his head, and his ears are right where they should be. From crown to rump, your baby-to-be is just over 2 inches long (about the size of a lime) and weighs half an ounce.
As for me...well, I thought I was maybe over the hump as far as morning sickness, but the last 3 days have been especially tough. The headaches have started and I had a yucky migraine over the weekend. Saturday evening was really hard as far as nausea...ICK! I'm eating ok, though not as much as I was in the last few weeks. I read that at this point in the pregnancy there are some major hormone changes that take place, so I'm guessing that's it. Hopefully this next week will be better! As far as weight gain/loss, I am exactly where I was last week. No weight gained, but none lost either.
Oh! Also, I was able to find one of the baby's heartbeats on my home fetal doppler this past week. It took me and entire hour to find one of them, but I did. It was so amazing! I was able to record the heartbeat on my phone and message it to Misty. I can't wait until they are a little bigger and I can find them both on the doppler. So fun! I wish there was a way to put the sound on here for you all to hear. It's amazing!
Until next week.....

YAY for finding the heartbeat! That is such an exciting moment - I will have to try again soon and see if I can get one good enough to record for my IPs. :) Sorry it's been a rough few days, hope you're over the nausea hump VERY soon!!
Thanks Rebekah! I think I may have found both heartbeats yesterday, but I'm not sure. The first one I found was so clear and loud! Not much longer and you will definitely be able to record for your IPs! :)
Awww, yeah! Such a great sound to hear!! :)
