Appointment Update

We had a fantasical 10 week appointment yesterday!  It doesn't matter how perfect everything has been up to this point- we still get nervous on appointment days.  But, there was no reason to worry, everything went great!

So, yesterday was my first "official" OB appointment.  I am officially a "normal" pregnant lady going to the regular OB...not the RE.  It's a great milestone!

We got all the initial paperwork out of the way first.  I then met with one of the nurses, Amyee.  She took all my info, along with Mark and Misty's.  It was quite comical at first because the first question she asked me was....

Amyee: What's your husband's name again?
Me:   Tony.
Amyee: Ok, so "N__ W__" was your last surrogate baby's father?
Me:   Yes.
Amyee:  Ok, so who is the father this time?
Me:   Mark Lively.  You know, that sounds really bad! *chuckles*
Amyee:  I know!!! *chuckles*
Me:  Good thing there is no one out here to overhear you
         ask me that!!!  *chuckles*


Once all that was out of the way, I met with Dr. C (my OB for the last 10 years).  We did some routine testing and then she wanted to take a peek at the babies.

They were so friggin' adorable!  They were dancing and squirming and kicking like crazy!  Absolutely amazing.  Dr. C kept wishing we could take video of them for Mark and Misty.  I HATE that my phone doesn't take video.  I absolutely canNOT wait until they can see their babies in person!

We were exactly 10 weeks along and...

Baby A- measured 10w2d- HR in 170's
Baby B- measured 10w3d- HR in 160's

They looked P.E.R.F.E.C.T!
