Babies at 17 weeks

Not much new to report, except we are 17 weeks!!!

The babies weigh as much as a turnip.

Here is what babycenter.com has to say-

Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
So, nothing really new going on at this point.   Just growing these babies.  Unfortunately it looks like those stubborn headaches have reared their ugly heads again.  I have had nightly headaches again for the last 3 or 4 nights.  Hopefully they will disappear again soon.  The weight gain/loss is still pretty much the same.  I am still up 3 lbs from my original starting weight.  Some days are better than others as far as the exhaustion goes.  If I have had a busy day (which basically means if I took a shower, got dressed, and left the house for any amount of time), then it takes almost 2 days to recuperate!  My new favorite phrase when I am feeling tired and unable to do anything....

"I am building people.  Two people!"

That's about it.  We have just 6 more days until we find out genders and until my next OB check up.  I will update everyone asap!

Aww hi turnip babies!! :D You are doing wonderfully Courtney! I'm sorry you're still so tired and dealing with those awful headaches! I have been waking up to sinus headaches a lot the past week or so, so much more mucous production with pregnancy and it seems it is not picky where it produces said mucous!! :D Hope you have a GOOD week!!
