Trigger Happy!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to update yesterday.  But...Misty went in for her u/s yesterday for a follicle check.  Everything looked PERFECT!  She had 18 follicles measuring over 14.  I know that may sound Greek to most of you, but trust me, that's WONDERFUL!  Can you all believe that me made it through this cycle with no cysts?!?!

Anyway...

After the tech performed Misty's u/s yesterday morning, we waited for the official call from the RE telling us when Misty would be taking her trigger shot.

**Trigger shot (uneducated definition)- the one time shot given 36 hours before egg retrieval to stimulate the eggs for retrieval day.

So, Misty was told yesterday afternoon to take her trigger that night, and she did!   Now, we wait for those eggies to have their last growth spurt for 36 hours.   She goes in tomorrow morning at 8:00 am, for retrieval at 9:00.

I took my LAST shot of Lupron last night.  Thank God!  I just weighed myself this morning to get the official amount of how much weight I gained on that evil drug this time.  10.  Yep, 10.  Pounds. 10 dang pounds exactly.  Lordy, I sure am hoping some of that comes off pretty quickly!

So, I start the monster shots tonight.  You know, the ones that I didn't have to take last time.  (Insert random thought here:  I'm going to take a picture of the needle tonight and post it tomorrow).  Yep, the one that is in vegetable oil.  This time the vials I got are actually progesterone in sesame oil.  Boy, oh boy, here we go!,

Pharmacology update:

ME:
BCPs- once daily  (DONE)
Doxycycline- 2x/day for 10 days  (DONE)
Lupron injection- once daily  (DONE)
Estrace- once daily
Aspirin- once daily
Vivelle patches- three four patches, changed every other day
Prenatal vitamin- once daily
PIO injection- once daily


MISTY:
BCPs- once daily  (DONE)
Lupron injection- once daily  (DONE)
Lovenox injections- once daily
Dexamethasone- once daily  (DONE)
Menopure- once daily  (DONE)
Gonal- once daily  (DONE)
Trigger injection- once  (DONE)


Summary....

Ok, so here is the final outline:

June 21: Misty's ER and Mark's birthday (Happy Birthday Mark!)
June 24: Transfer day if we are doing a 3dt (3 day transfer)
June 26: TRANSFER day if we are doing a 5dt, and My birthday!
July 12: Beta day....please, please, please be positive this time!!!
