Operation: Mini M&Ms- Day 5

Well, this is officially the last day of Operation: Mini M&Ms.  My bedrest ends in the morning and we will be checking out of our hotel and heading back home.  We have had an amazingly wonderful 5 days! 

While I spent all day today on bedrest,  Tony took the kids to the Kemah Stingray Reef & Rainforest and to The Children's Museum...

While they were gone, I had a fellow surrogate, Carmela, come keep me company at the hotel.  It was great to finally get to meet her in person.  It's always nice to get to talk with someone who understands this part of your life like no one else can.  Thanks Carmela!

Later, Misty came and brought some lunch for me and kept me company for the rest of the afternoon.  When Tony and the kids returned to the hotel, we all went to dinner at Pappasitos.  After a yummy dinner, we said our goodbyes in the parking lot.  :o(  
(Oh...wait... Keep in mind that I had been on bedrest all day and did NOT get to fix my hair or put on makeup!!!!  Ugh...)



Not sure what we were laughing at, but with the 2 of us...No telling!

So, with that...we said goodbye. 

Tony and I took the kids back to the hotel.  Of course, they wanted to go swimming...

So...that's it.  We will pack up and check out and drive back home tomorrow.  I will go stir crazy analyzing every twinge, cramp, symptom, etc.  This is going to be a loooong wait!  Oh, by the way, BETA is on March 17th- St. Patrick's Day!  Wish us luck, send us prayers, think positive, etc.  We want this to work more than anyone can imagine!

Misty, my dear friend, I am so thankful to you and for you!  I am going to do everything I possibly can to make you and Mark parents.  I love you both and am so happy that our lives have crossed paths.  I am so blessed to have found new friends.  I will tell your babies to snuggle in tight and tell them how much they are loved and wanted!  They are in good hands...I promise!  Here's to a wonderful 9 months!
