So...
Misty had her estrogen levels tested and they were elevated. So, things are pushed back for a little while. The doctor increased her Lupron dosage from 10 units per day to 40 units per day. She will go back in one week and be re-checked. Hopefully (please, please, please) the cysts will be gone and we can proceed as usual and just be a week behind schedule. Also as a result, my appointments for this Friday and next Wednesday have been postponed.
Misty, I know you are disappointed (so am I), but please know that this is just the sucky part of surrogacy. You are doing everything in your power to make this work. We will get over this hump. You WILL be a mommy.
On a lighter note, Misty and I have decided to look at the "blessings in disguise."
*Now Tony and I don't have to drive to Houston in the yucky, icy weather!
*Now Gayle can make it to transfer! (She was going to have to miss it)
*Finding this issue now can help prepare us more for a successful cycle!
We CHOOSE to be positive!
